Become an Inner Circle Assistant excerpt – Know Thyself: Internal vs. External Wiring
You may be familiar with the terms “introvert” and “extrovert.” The popular conception of an introvert is mired in negativity. Someone who is quiet or uncommunicative is frequently labeled an introvert and problematic.
For our purposes, we’ll use the terms “internal” and “external.” The person who prefers to process information internally isn’t thought of as problematic; it’s understood that he or she is simply wired differently from a friend or colleague who is outgoing, or external. Interestingly, an internal person is frequently outgoing. The difference is that this individual rejoices when he or she can slip away from the crowd and think in peace.
Since the inner circle assistant is a thinker and relies heavily on cognitive powers, it helps to know more about yourself and whether you’re in an internal or external type. Want to take the quiz to find out if you are an external or internal thinker? Want to know more about these types? Pick up your copy of Become an Inner Circle Assistant along with Underneath It All and Who Took My Pen … Again? today! You can find this quiz in Chapter 6 of Become an Inner Circle Assistant.
