Welcome to our very first question for Ask an Admin – Admin to Admin Advice, where you submit the question and your peers answer your question. We believe that there are many different ways to approach problems, difficult tasks, and situations so we thought this would be a great way to provide you a place to share your input as well as receive input from others.
This week’s question comes from Barb and she asks:
With the New Year underway, it’s time for me to present my personal goals to my boss for 2019. I always struggle with this. Everyone I’ve talked to struggles with this so I’m wondering if anyone has advice on how they brainstorm ideas for goals? I feel so close to the job that I struggle with stepping back to gain a fresh perspective on improvements I can make.
GREAT QUESTION! So, how do we brainstorm ideas for goals, especially when we feel so close to the job and we have a hard time stepping back?
