Joan and Jasmine traveled from Sunday through Friday and we noticed that the Wellness Pillar wasn’t getting the attention that it needed to thrive.
For me, part of nurturing my Wellness Pillar is eating or juicing lots of fresh fruits and veggies. My husband teases me at the amount of greens I can consume in a week or about the variety of items that I will put through our juicer. In fact, during an especially successful long streak of nurturing my Wellness Pillar with these juices my husband sent me flowers with the note attached “Please don’t juice these.” Yet, as of today, I haven’t juiced for weeks and I definitely feel it. It’s safe to say I’ve fallen out of practice but it’s okay. I’ll get it back together.
While at the airport, during that especially long trip, Joan found a book, You are What you Eat, that she thought might help give her the extra oomph she needed to get back on track as we traveled home that Friday afternoon. She shares her find with us and we talk about the Wellness Pillar. We start out really talking about foods and wellness but then it leads into difficult situations and how you deal with them. Perhaps falling off the commitment you made to yourself is a difficult situation. You feel badly for disappointing yourself. It’s okay! Listen in for practices on how to move through that and get yourself back on the right track.
What are your thoughts about getting off track? Do you beat yourself up or do you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back into it?
When life gets off track, how you do you get it back in order?
