The political arena is intensifying. The boxing gloves are on.

Who wants to read or hear the news? Not me. It is very disheartening, sad, and upsetting. It’s easy to let all this bad news destroy your good attitude.
But these are the realities we live with folks. Not to mention all the problems you hear from your coworkers. And we won’t stop reading or seeing it unless we completely shutter ourselves away.
So are we to do? How do we protect ourselves so we don’t get into a funk from all the “bad stuff” that is happening? How do we keep our focus on our life and not get sucked into everything else? What can we do to not let bad news, whether from the media or neighbors or friends or family, drag us down leaving us with anxiousness and fear? [Read more…]
