Our theme this January is swirling around BIG dreams and dreaming as big as you can. Joan challenged you to submit your big dreams to us to share her on the blog. Thanks to these wonderful ladies for getting the ball rolling. It can be intimidating saying your big dream out loud for others to hear. You begin to wonder if it’s too much, what they think and whether you deserve it. You do deserve it! Don’t let guilt get in the way of your dreams. Shout them from the mountain tops and own them. Put them out into the universe and let them come back to you fully. Help us lift these women up as they set out to capture their big dreams and please feel free to share yours here as well; it’s a safe place.
Hi Joan, my “BIG DREAM” this year is to either adopt a child or become a foster parent. There are just soooo many kids out there who truly need to be cared for and loved. We would be overjoyed to add an addition to our family. Wish my husband and I luck!
I want to relocate to the Gatlinburg TN area. I’ve vacationed there for the past 10 years and fell in love with it and now just seems the time in my life to make some big changes. I’m actively looking for and pursuing opportunities to make that a reality.
My big dream is to learn Spanish. I learned Spanish in High School, read and wrote the language. I know enough of the language to get help, say my name, ask for things and greet. Spanish language is expressive, beautiful and easy to learnI work with Hispanic people, would like to understand them, speak their language and learn their heritage.
I plan to take online courses, practice with my Hispanic coworkers, and be able to write and speak the language.
Aren’t these wonderful big dreams?! We can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2013 and keep those dreams coming.
