Using Ai WithIntention
How Smart Assistants Think, Prompt, and Decide
AI can give you an answer in seconds.
But is it the right answer?
You may already use AI to draft emails, summarize meetings, research information, brainstorm ideas, or polish documents. But there is a big difference between using AI and knowing how to think effectively with AI.
The real opportunity is not simply getting more done faster. It is learning how to use AI to think more broadly, recognize connections, explore possibilities, anticipate what may happen next, and produce better work.
And through all of it, you need to know when your judgment, context, emotional intelligence, creativity, and knowledge of your executive must take the lead.
Using AI With Intention will help you move beyond basic AI use and become a more thoughtful, strategic, and discerning AI user.
Office Dynamics Research
You're Using AI.
Are You Getting Enough From It?
Office Dynamics International surveyed 300 administrative and executive professionals about how they are actually using AI. The findings revealed an interesting gap. 70% use AI daily or several times a week, yet for 59%, AI touches less than 10% of their actual workload. And 71% still describe themselves as beginner or basic users.

Assistants are not ignoring AI. They are using it. But many know they could be getting much more from it.
That's the gap this training is designed to close.
This Isn't Another AI Tools Class
AI brings extraordinary capability.
You bring the human intelligence that makes it useful.
What Will You Be Able to Do Better?
After this 60-minute training, you'll be better equipped to:
Approach AI with greater clarity and purpose so you receive stronger, more relevant results.
Think beyond the obvious answer and consider alternatives, risks, connections, and possibilities.
Recognize more opportunities to use AI throughout your administrative responsibilities, not just for writing and summarizing.
Use AI to strengthen preparation, anticipation, problem solving, creativity, and decision support.
Combine AI's capabilities with your professional judgment, emotional intelligence, and knowledge of your executive.
Recognize when important context is missing before acting on an AI-generated response.
Maintain ownership of the final work and the decisions that follow from it.
You won't leave knowing everything about AI. You'll leave knowing how to approach it differently.
Imagine Using AI to Help You Think Ahead
Or imagine facing a familiar process that isn’t working particularly well. Instead of asking AI to improve what already exists, what if you could use it to explore entirely different possibilities?
This is where AI becomes much more than a writing assistant.
It becomes a resource for better thinking.
This Will Be an Interactive Hour
You won’t simply sit and listen. You’ll work through realistic administrative situations, exchange ideas with other professionals, and participate in Zoom breakout discussions designed to challenge your thinking.
Some situations may appear straightforward at first. Then you’ll receive additional information that changes the context.
Would you still make the same decision?
That’s where the learning gets interesting. Administrative work rarely comes with every fact neatly packaged in the first request. Priorities change. Relationships matter. New information emerges. Exceptional assistants adjust their thinking as the situation evolves.
AI does not eliminate that complexity. It makes your ability to navigate it even more valuable.
Who Should Attend?
This training is designed for administrative and executive professionals who are already experimenting with AI as well as those who are still relatively new to it. You do not need advanced AI experience.
If you are using AI but know you could be getting more from it, want stronger results, wonder what else AI could help you accomplish, or want to use AI without surrendering your own judgment and professional instincts, this training is for you.
And if you’ve primarily been using AI for emails, summaries, research, or basic tasks, we’ll challenge you to think bigger about what’s possible.
Why Now?
Nearly half of the administrative professionals in ODI’s research, 48%, have received no formal AI training. Yet 91% believe AI will change the administrative role to some degree over the next three years.

The question is no longer simply whether you will use AI.
The more important question is how well you will use it.

FAQs
What is Using AI With Intention?
Using AI With Intention is a live 60-minute virtual training from Office Dynamics International, led by Joan Burge. It teaches administrative and executive professionals how to think, prompt, and decide when they use AI, so they get stronger results and keep their own judgment in charge.

Administrative and executive professionals at any stage with AI. It’s built for people already experimenting with AI and for those still fairly new to it. If you mostly use AI for emails, summaries, or research and know you could get more from it, this training is for you.
Do I need AI experience to attend?
No. The training doesn’t teach a specific platform or walk through features. It focuses on the thinking you bring to any AI tool, and that stays useful as the technology changes.
How much does it cost, and what’s included?
Registration is $49. That covers the live interactive training, administrative scenarios and exercises, Zoom breakout discussions, and a participant learning resource. 30-day access to the recording. Breakout sessions will not be recorded.
Is the training interactive?
Yes. You’ll work through realistic administrative scenarios and join Zoom breakout discussions. In some of them, new information changes the situation and tests your judgment.
