Austin Gappelberg is the Co-Chief Executive Officer at the Hampton Chocolate Factory. Driven by a lifelong connection to the business, he joined the family enterprise at the age of 13 where he gained invaluable entrepreneurial insights at such a young age. Austin spent his senior year at the University of Tampa creating a capstone business plan focused on the idea of Easy Corporate Gifting.
He soon realized that what made the difference was using gifting to help build more meaningful relationships and he believes that there’s no better way than with chocolate! Austin and his brother Grant aspire to grow the Hampton Chocolate Factory to become a 100-year generational brand that becomes the most famous dessert and the gift of choice in America.
Founded in 2014, the Hampton Chocolate Factory, led by brothers Austin and Grant, has evolved from humble beginnings at farmers’ markets to opening their flagship store in Tampa, FL. With a deep-rooted passion for delighting customers and enhancing relationships through thoughtful gifting, Austin introduced the Easy Gifting Program, aiming to make the Hampton Chocolate Factory America’s gift of choice and premier dessert destination. Their vision is to create a lasting legacy, building a 100-year brand renowned for a one of a kind memorable experiences and delighting its customers.
