Executive and administrative assistants can accomplish anything their heart desires today. 2015 will mark the 25th Year Anniversary of Office Dynamics and I am excited because I have seen so many good changes in the profession since I started my business—a business that grew out of a passion about a career I loved for 20 years and because I saw a gap in specialized, robust training for executive and administrative assistants. I wanted to improve the quality of work life for assistants of all levels and we have accomplished that.
I am most proud of Jasmine Freeman, my Chief Executive Assistant and now Vice President of Office Dynamics as of November 2013. Jasmine wrote a wonderful piece that was recently published in our Chamber’s Monthly Magazine, the Business Voice. Jasmine is Council Chair of the Vegas Young Professionals, a very hip and bright organization.
Jasmine has been with Office Dynamics for 8 years and she has blossomed into a speaker, writer, and all-around valuable asset to Office Dynamics. Jasmine is a glowing example of what is possible for executive and administrative assistants who hunger to grow and challenge themselves.
As we end 2014, I want to thank all of you who have made Office Dynamics what it is today! I would not be here 25 years later without companies who want to invest in their assistants’ professional development and assistants who continue to challenge themselves.
Remember, the sky is the limit for your profession if you are willing to be uncomfortable once in a while – you can grow new skills.
P.S. The article Jasmine wrote is so good; I want to share it with all of you (See below.)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Be sure to follow us in 2015 as we Celebrate 25 Years of Inspiring Administrative Excellence.
